OUR HISTORY

Northlands Vets was originally formed in the 1960’s as a mixed animal Practice providing services both to the general public and the farming community. Over 50 years on we have grown covering most of Northamptonshire, creating a hospital based service and concentrating solely on domestic animals. Northlands possesses more than just clinical excellence it also has a genuine love and devotion to the pets we look after.

Our Tier 3 Hospital in Kettering is carefully assessed by the Royal College under their Practice Standards Scheme; and we have achieved the highest rating. Not only are we here for you during the day, we are also the only hospital based Practice here for you during the difficult night times too.

Being a local Practice, we pride ourselves on our history of training local people who have the chance to become the best nurses and support staff. As a training hospital we train people in our way, maintaining standards and emphasising the need to care for every animal.

No other Practice locally can offer the service and expertise we can provide. In house laboratory, MRI scanning, digital x-ray, laser therapy, orthopaedic services, our own emergency cover, whilst still able to provide the everyday needs such as neutering and vaccinations, all at a cost that we try to hold lower than all around. Our services are so highly rated that we perform a large number of these functions for other Practices as they do not have the facilities or staff to do it themselves. A high praise indeed for our continuing effort to strive to bring the best that Veterinary Medicine can offer to you.
