Alison, who prefers to be called Winnie, started off as a trainee veterinary nurse aged 17 in 1975, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 1977. Initially working in Kettering after joining Northlands, Winnie has been at our Rushden practice since it opened in 2001, and hopes to retire there. She is a connoisseur of red wine and enjoys playing pool, and isn’t afraid to say that she’s rather good at it! She has a cat, George, and a tortoise, Abbie.
